Toowoomba is known for its parks, and one of the best is the University’s Japanese Gardens. On over 4.5 hectares with over 230 species of trees & plants, lush lawns, stream and a waterfall, this is Australia’s largest and most traditionally designed Japanese garden.
A popular location for weddings and photographers, you can relax in the rock garden, feed the fish, ducks, swans & geese by the pond, or get your exercise on the 3km of paths.
You will find the Japanese Gardens on the northern side of the University campus.
